July 30   The Great Gatsby 

A 1974 romantic drama based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, directed by Jack Clayton and produced by David Merrick from a screenplay by Francis Ford Coppola. The film stars Robert Redford along with Mia Farrow, Sam Waterston, Bruce Dern, Karen Black, Scott Wilson and Lois Chiles. The film follows the life and times of millionaire Jay Gatsby at the height of the Roaring Twenties, as recounted by his friend neighbor Nick Carraway.
